The people behind the mic
Los Angeles gets all the credit. But New York City has been Hollywood's second home for over a century — and the city's working film community is one of the largest, toughest, and most underrepresented in the country.
Another Hollywood is a podcast about the people who make NYC's film and TV industry run — not the stars, not the studio executives, but the background actors, day players, production assistants, camera crews, script supervisors, and everyone else who shows up before the sun and wraps after midnight.
We record it in a living room, the way it should be — no jingles, no sponsors reading you a mattress ad, no filters on the conversation. Just two people from the industry talking to the people in it.

Co-Host
Russell Stoner is a NYC-based actor and comedian with deep roots in the city's film and television industry. He's worked across the full spectrum of the business — from background work and day player roles to theatre and stand-up — and brings a working actor's perspective to every conversation.
He knows the holding area. He knows the voucher system. He knows what it's like to eat craft service breakfast at 4:30am and not know if you'll get used that day. That's exactly why he wanted to make this podcast.
The show isn't about becoming famous. It's about surviving — and thriving — in the most competitive film market in the world outside of LA.
Co-Host
Ashley Brooke Cohen is a New York-based creative with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Her background spans performance, production, and the many worlds in between — giving her a multidimensional view of how NYC's film ecosystem actually works.
Ashley brings a sharp ear and an instinct for the real story behind the polished surface of the industry. She's the reason the conversations go somewhere the guests didn't expect.
Together with Russell, she's built a show that feels like the conversation you have at the end of a long shoot when everyone finally lets their guard down.
